Satellite differential for PN Racing MiniZ with pinion set.

For some time now, Uri Valdé had been saying that a good pinion differential runs much faster than an adjustable bearing differential - which makes sense, bacause there is no power loss, given that the ball bearings do not glide along the plates when accelerating; plus the traction is direct. Uri kept insisting and insisting until PN, the team that he forms a part of, finally decided to manufacture a few prototypes…. and the results we re immediately favourable.

After almost two years, this is the end result of the original idea of making a quality differential by way of pinion and crowns in order to prevent power loss in acceleration.

In TRP we had the priviledge of testing out first hand this new concept of differential with interchangeable crown and we were quite impressed; especially because of its power output, that, coupled with good grip will turn the MiniZ into a rocket.

The launching of this differential as well as the new adjustable motor mount should any day now. We will keep you informed.

TRPscale Slot GrupoZ – more novelties

We have´been informed that these photos don´t show exactly how the new version of the latest GroupZ V3 chassis will be sold on the market. However what we can do is give you a sneak preview on some of the new features that the new chassis will incorporate. Based on the information that we have received so far, the chassis will be on sale in regular stores almost immediately, and as far as we know a few optional and racing parts will be added so that your GroupZ Slot cars could be even more versatile and competitive.

New Chassis for the PN Slot GrupoZ

With the moderators´permission and with the license granted to me by TRP to publish this notice, we would like to inform you that PN Slot, starting this year, 2012, will be commercialized via the Spanish manufacturer and distributor TRP (Technical Racing Products). TRP will launch on the market a new version of the well know PNSlot chassis with notable improvements and developments. This is due to the fact that TRP has gone on to become the sole proprietor of the PN Slot company, previously based in California (USA).
The product was studied to determine the feasibility of it being produced entirely in Spain. This way the benefits of the production of this class of product can be shared among Spanish companies (something very much appreciated!).

This chassis will be available for world wide distribution approximately 15 days. or at least, as soon as the patents on their design have been confirmed.

At the moment the bare version of the chassis (traction elements such as the motor, rims, axles etc will not be included) will be distributed. LAter on this year hower, a semi-complete complete version including the car body, will be launched.

We hope that this notice will be well received by all enthusiasts of this category and also that, in the near future, we will be able to continue holding races as competitive as those which we have held to date.

We will soon be posting some images of this new model, how it is taking form and also a few technical improvements that it incorporates.

In any regard, I would like to let you know in advance that the philosophy of the chassis has not changed, and that it is still a chassis that strives toward the same Plug and Play concept in order to make this category a user friendly one; one without the need for excessive adjustments in order to function correctly, whether on wood or plastic tracks.

Kyosho Mini-Z Buggy

We are well aware that at the beginning of November the Kyosho mini-Z buggy will start to distributed inthe Spanish market. For this reason we would like to let you know that it is now possible to reserve these cars on our TRP web site, especially given that there will be a limited initial supply of items.
We expect for these cars to be able to run perfectly on our RCP-Tracks and also for them to be ready for racing in competitions in the near future.

Kyosho MiniZ buggy

On the TRP webpage, you can find all the information you need on our new Miniz Buggy model that Kyosho has recently launched onto the market. Without a doubt it came as a pleasant surprise to us to find out that Kyosho wouldn´t be abandoning the MiniZ and they would shortly be inaugurating a new category within the scale.

Tools for the MiniZ by PN Racing

PN Racing has launched a set of 4 tools designed for radio control vehicles. Judging by their size, we can assure that they will function perfectly on the Slot 1:24, Slot 1:28 and Slot 1:32 as with our own Mini-Z cars.

The tool grips are the same for the four existing models, with exchangeable heads with adjustable length via a screw in the grip.

The heads that currently available are: Allen key-0.9, Allen key-1.5, Philips, nut key - 4.5 ideal for the aluminium anti lock nuts of the mini-z.
